 The stamps are from StampinUp - Backyard basics and postage.  I colored with new Blendabilities markes and used a few old stamps for background.

Summer & Dragonflies

We spent two days at the local YMCA pool this weekend.  I relaxed and watched the dragonflies skimming over the pool surface and cooled off in the water - It was HOT HOT HOT here in SW GA.

I pulled out this old stamp set from StampinUP.  Measure of life and I love this verse.

I backed with Stampin Up cardstock Perfect Plum, Costal Cabana &

I colored with Copic markers:  V20, V25, V09 & B000.  I also made my
 envelope to match.

Now it's ready to mail to a friend.  Since I used thin paper I am taping round the corners, just to make sure it doesn't open in transit. If I used thicker paper it would be fine to mail without the tape.

Card Class

We had a great time at Card class last night - We made a card from a StampinUp products and one with Close to my Heart products.  We came away with two really cool cards.

I am receiving the new 2014 StampinUp catalog on Thursday of this week,  I am thinking of having everyone over Friday night to get a sneak peek of the catalog.  We can't order from it for a few weeks, but it will give us a chance to get together and take a look at all the new stamps.  The catalogs are $5.00 each, but if you host a party or take orders for a party I will give you the catalog for free.

I am also placing another order for the discontinued items.
